A MESSAGE FROM HEATHER OF HEATHERZ BAR:
i have sad news that OUR, and i say our, because i believe we've all felt a kindred love for this painting, was stolen on friday/sat, at 1:50am. the girl who took it was hanging in the back booth dancing with her friends, when she pulled off quite the prank, taking down my painting and throwing her coat over it and walked out. it was our second busiest night ever, and my staff was too overwhelmed to catch her in the act.
i plea to you all, lovers of heathers, if you know anyone that was having a birthday or hanging out here on friday night Dec 5th, can you forward this email? Maybe they will have heard of some bragging, or friends seen it in her apartment. please ask her to bring it back, and i will be very very thankful.
below is a screen grab, i know its bad, but she has long black hair, maybe of indian decent, i think she's tall and thin. i don't recognize her as a regular.
thanks so much for your help, this painting is special to us, and deserves to be remounted.
